On the weekend of September 16/17 we will host a social after all masses at both churches. We need people to discern their gifts and to get involved in the life of our community. There are a variety of ministries in need of additional people to step forward and help our faith family.
Pray this week, asking the Holy Spirit to help you find the spot for you. There is nursing home ministry, working with our children and youth, helping one of the parish groups: CWL, K of C
, St. Vincent de Paul; lectors, choirs, ushers, altar servers, parish council, gardens, building, sacramental preparation.
A sign up list will be provided with more information as well as which ministries require police clearance checks which the parish office can assist you with the process.
We need everyone to get involved. The 3 years of COVID had a detrimental effect on our ministry and we still have many people who have not returned to Sunday worship, many of whom were involved in ministry. Please consider how you can share your gifts with our family.
The newly merged council of the Knights (councils 9528 and 9865) hope to offer a bbq lunch after the 11 am mass at St. John Vianney as part of the ministry fair there to introduce themselves to the community as one new council.
